ABT Parcel service rebrands to ABT Logistics; aims Pan-India expansion

ABT, a pioneer in the Indian transport industry, has announced the rebranding of ABT Parcel Service to ABT Logistics, marking a new phase of growth and expansion. This strategic move aims to broaden the company’s operations and establish a Pan-India presence in the logistics sector.
Founded in 1931 by Late P Nachimuthu Gownder, ABT initially started as a bus transport company. In 1964, ABT Parcel Service was launched under the guidance of Dr. N Mahalingam. Over the decades, the company has built a vast logistics network across eight states, catering to industries such as FMCG, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, agro-products, and electronics.
With the rebranding, ABT Logistics aims to enhance its services, integrating modern logistics solutions such as 3PL (third-party logistics), warehousing, and inventory management.
This transformation reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and providing efficient supply chain solutions to businesses nationwide.
Speaking on the initiative, Hari Hara Sudhan, Executive Director of ABT Logistics, said, “Our rebranding is not just about a new name; it represents our evolution as a company.
We are dedicated to creating a superior customer experience while expanding our service capabilities across India.”
With decades of industry expertise and a strong focus on technology-driven logistics solutions, ABT Logistics is set to become a dominant player in India’s supply chain sector, reinforcing its reputation for reliability and excellence.
