Advocate Mohan honours CPI’s Mutharasan for his social welfare contributions

Advocate Mohan, President of the Social Welfare Forum, honoured Comrade R Mutharasan, State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI), by presenting him with an identity card at the second annual Art and Literary Award Festival held in Tiruvannamalai.

The event was presided over by Yuvraj Ambethkar Mohan, President of the Social Welfare Forum, while Comrade R Mutharasan presented awards to distinguished personalities in the fields of art, literature, and cinema. The festival was inaugurated by Comrade R Thangaraj, District Secretary of the Communist Party of India, with special guests including Thiru Seeni Karthikeyan, District Secretary of the Revival Dravidian Progressive Federation, and R Arul, District Secretary of the People's Justice Center.
Awards were presented in various categories:

Lifetime Achievement Award – Comrade P Anbu, State Deputy Secretary of the Tamil Nadu Art and Literary Federation, Best Film Award – Director Ezhil Periya Veedikai for the film Parari, Best Actor Award – Premnath for the film Parari, Literary Award – Writer K Jeyasankar, Music Award – Pullankuzhal musician R Parani, Theater Award – Therukoothu theater instructor S Muthu.

The event was organised by Ajith, Deepak, Vasanth, Kannan Nataraj, and Kodeeswaran. The identity card was presented to Comrade R Mutharasan by Advocate Mohan, and the event was hosted by Kiriraj Mohan. Dr. Abinaya Sundari, a naturopathic physician, delivered the vote of thanks, marking the conclusion of the prestigious ceremony.
