AIADMK cadres celebrate election of EPS as interim general secretary

Many cadres of AIADMK led by Jaya Peravai district joint secretary Veerakumar celebrated Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Edappadi Palaniswami as AIADMK Interim General Secretary election of Edappadi Palaniswami as party interim general secretary by bursting firecrackers and distributing sweets to public near Panneerselvam Park,  Erode on Monday.

He said ''all cadres of the party were happy over the unznimous election of EPS as interim general secretary by the special general council of the party held at Chennai. It will greatly help in strengthening the AIADMK and soon bring about a change of government under the leadership of the AIADMK.

 It is the hope of all the volunteers that Edappadiyar will work hard to take Tamil Nadu on the path of progress, a dream of the leaders of the AIADMK MGR and Jayalalithaa. As said by Jayalalithaa, the party would continue to serve the people for many centuries as Edappadiyar would give a strong leadership.

 He will soon become the general secretary of the party.  Party functionaries Nandagopal, Chola Loganathan  Nallasamy, Chinnaswamy, Kalaiyarasan, 46 Pudur Panchayat President Prakash, Kasturi, Vijaya, Jewel  Raja and many others were present in the event.
