AIADMK cadres told to ensure victory in LS poll

AIADMK Namakkal district secretary and former minister P. Thangamani appealed to the cadres to go door to door to canvass for the victory of AIADMK in the coming LS poll. 
He addressed at the booth committee meeting of Pallipalayam North block party unit's booth committee meeting held at Kumarapalayam on Monday.
In his speech he said that the committees could play a major role in the poll to bring voters to the booth and seek their support for the victory of AIADMK in the LS poll. So, party general secretary EPS give more importance to the committees, each having 20 members including its president.
He said that the late CMs MGR and Jayalalithaa enforced many welfare schemes for poor and carried out many development schemes. 
On their footsteps, EPS also implemented many welfare and development schemes. But the present DMK rule dropped many schemes of AIADMK and didn't fulfil many poll promises of it. So, the committee members should highlight the omissions and commissions of DMK rule and the achievements of previous AIADMK rule among voters, he pleaded.
Party Pallipalayam north block secretary Kumaresan, I south block secretary Senthil and town secretary PS Velliangiri and many functionaries attended the function.
