AIADMK is the witness to its own corruption

After coming to power and assuming responsibility as Chief Minister, M.K.Stalin showed initiative in uncovering the irregularities and corruption in the AIADMK regime. Anti-corruption police raided the houses and related places of former ministers including S.PVelumani, Thangamani, Vijayabaskar, K.P Anbazhagan and confiscated documents and money.However, the AIADMK accused the police of carrying out the search out of revenge. Cases are pending trial. Courts will judge based on evidence and documents.

Apart from this, two people belonging to the same party have become witnesses of the corruption of ministers in the AIADMK regime and accumulation of crores of assets. One is former minister Selvakumar, a supporter of Edappadi KPalanisamy and another isPugazhendi, the supporter of O.Paneerselvam.
Twirling his whip, former minister Jayakumar has said,``O. Panneerselvam has money. He has enough money to be included in the world's billionaires list.  It is money he earned illegally''.

In response, Pugazhendi has said, “Jayakumar's house looks like the TajMahal Palace, starting from one place on the street and extending to the next street.Was your father a millionaire at birth? How did you build such a big house? If O.Pannerselvam was corrupt like that, why didn't they say it then? Whenever that happened, you were there. Why not stop? Are everyone corrupt then?'' he asked. 

Thus, Jayakumar and Pugazendi have exposed the fact that corruption has taken place in the AIADMK regime. ``Come and see,'' they are exposing openly. This should not be seen only as an expression of AIADMK split. All the Tamils have absorbed the inner meaning of what they said. Along with the court verdicts, the people's verdict is going to come in the 2024 parliamentary elections!
