AIADMK sought Bus Shelters at Pallipalayam

AIADMK  Pallipalayam town Secretary and former municipal chairman PS Velliangiri submitted a petition to the municipal commissioner to arrange a bus shelter in the town. He said there is no bus stand in Pallipalayam town now, after the commencement of the flyover construction work.

It causes much hardship to the passengers.  The then minister and local MLA P Thangamani built  two bus stands for the convenience of the public in Salem and  Namakkal route in the town with an iron barricade in the middle of the road at a cost of Rs. 66 lakh. As work to construct a flyover is underway in the town, the two iron shelters and plaque in this regard have been temporarily removed.

The shelters were very useful to the public. So, after the completion of the flyover works, we request that two shelters and a name plate (inscription) be erected by the municipality again according to the wishes of the public, he pleaded. Party functionaries Subramani, Senthil, Suresh, Saravanan, Sampooranam, Sujatha, Marimuthu,Jaya also presented the petition to the Commissioner.
