'Airbus A 321' becomes a regular visitor to Coimbatore

The big narrow body aircraft which carries 215 passengers Airbus 'A 321' which was previously witnessed rare at Coimbatore has now become a regular flight which operates between Coimbatore- Sharjah.

Coimbatore International airport is providing 3 international services to Singapore, Sharjah and Colombo. Presently the flight service to Colombo has been temporarily cancelled due to crisis witnessed in Sri Lanka.Air Arabia Airlines which is providing services between Coimbatore- Sharjah is now operating flights 5 days every week.
Usually 'A 320' type of aircraft will be operated which has seating capacity of 168 passengers. 

Very rarely 'A 321' type of aircraft would be used which has seating capacity of 215 passengers. But nowadays this flight service has become a regular one.Aviation sources said"Air bus 'A 321' is a narrow body big aircraft which has more seating capacity than  'A 320'.

This June month all flights operated between Coimbatore - Sharjah were 'Air Bus A 321'. Every time this flight comes/goes with full capacity of 215 passengers. This type of big aircraft which was previously a rarely seen has now become a regular flight service at Coimbatore International Airport. "
