All good projects brought by ADMK rule have been stopped: EPS

Former Chief Minister and AIADMK Interim General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami said that stoppage of all good programs brought by ADMK  regime was the achievement of the Dravida model regime.Rs 2500 was given to all people as a Pongal gift by ADMK rule. But during DMK rule 21 grocery items were given as pongal package but people can never forget it.  When they bought jaggery it was flowing. They may have bought jaggery in Salem or Erode but they bought it outside only to  get commission.

 'Commission, collection,  corruption' is their policy. They stopped the Pongal gift this year and gave only Rs 1000 to card holders.  Only after our protest,  sugarcane was given.  Marriage aid with gold, scooties, etc were given to  But DMK government stopped them. Students studying in government schools were given 7.5% seat reservation for admission to medical colleges.  AIADMK government made it possible for them to study without spending a single paise. No one asked such scheme. 

But we did it. The  cadres point  out the various schemes brought in AIADMK government to canvass votes.  DMK did not fulfil many poll promises even after 20 months, especially granting Rs 1000 per month for women, Rs 100 as gas cylinder subsidy,  hiking the old age pension to Rs 1500 etc. The pension was not given to many now. We should collect votes by pointing out all the omissions and commissions of DMK rule to get massive victory in the present bypoll, he said. Former ministers KA Sengottaiyan and many former ministers attended the meeting.
