Alumni Reunion meeting at SREC

The spring is here in Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC), Coimbatore as the Alma mater welcomed back over 100 alumni of class  2003-2007 to the Alumni Reunion on Saturday. This reunion provided an opportunity to gather at the college campus to share their memories with fellow batch mates and their teachers.

Alumni of the batch across the globe joined through video conferencing. Alumnus represented in large numbers from  various departments  of the 2003-2007 batches. Principal/Patron Dr.N.R.Alamelu updated the alumni chapter activities and the contributions alumnus towards the growth of the Institution.

Mr.C.V Ramkumar,  Chief Executive Officer, SNR Sons charitable trust released the SREC Alumni Association magazine “Spotlight” and addressed the gathering.  The Fifth and Sixth  Batch of SREC instituted an endowment of Rs.5 lakhs towards the alumni activities of the institution.

Association president Mrs.Veena, Secretary Mr.Senthil Kannan, and representatives from various chapters graced the occasion. Mr.B.Mathivanan, the organizer of the event proposed vote of thanks.
