Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University) has once again secured a top position in the NIRF India Rankings 2025, announced by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The institution has been ranked 8th among universities and 9th among medical colleges, placing it in the Top 10 nationally in both categories.
This marks the eighth consecutive year since 2017 that Amrita has been featured in the Top 10 universities list. Founded in 2003, it is also the youngest institution among India’s leading universities, with 10 campuses across the country.
With over 200 global collaborations including Harvard, Columbia, King’s College London, and University of Tokyo, Amrita continues to excel in academics, research, and innovation.
