Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Signs MoU with LG Soft India

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham and LG Soft India signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance collaborative research and development in software engineering and cybersecurity. The signing ceremony on Amrita’s Coimbatore campus was attended by Dr. Venkat Rangan (Vice Chancellor), Dr. P. Ajith Kumar (Registrar), Dr. Sasangan Ramanathan (Dean, Faculty of Engineering) and Prof. M. Sethumadhavan (Centre Head, TIFAC-CORE in Cyber Security) from Amrita, alongside Mr. SungHyun Cho (President), and Dr. Sumit Gautam (R&D Division) from LG Soft India. Central to this partnership is the newly inaugurated LG Soft–Amrita Software Engineering Research Lab (LASER), sponsored under CSR programme.
Highlighting the partnership's core benefit, The Vice Chancellor stated, "This partnership bridges industry best practices with academic rigor."
Mr. SungHyun Cho, President of LG Soft India, emphasized the collaborative aspect.
