In a unique initiative, policemen from the Coimbatore Armed Forces began their day with activities similar to those of farmers. Early in the morning, they participated in a road rally and engaged in maintaining the police forest within the armed forces complex. This initiative is part of a broader effort by City Police Commissioner Balakrishnan to enhance the mental and physical health of policemen working in Coimbatore.
The officers also took care of saplings planted in the Miyawaki style. The police personnel expressed that starting their day with these activities provided them with a sense of satisfaction, akin to that experienced by farmers. Assistant Commissioner of Armed Forces Shekhar and other police officers participated in the event.
