The American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT) has opened a world-class training facility in Chennai, India. The 7500 sq. ft. facility is located in Ambattur Industrial Estate and offers cutting-edge nondestructive testing (NDT) equipment and advanced technologies. The facility is designed to provide practical hands-on NDT training to become industry-ready. The opening comes as initiatives like 'Make in India' have created a need for skilled NDT technicians in large-scale projects such as oil refineries, aerospace, offshore platforms, pipelines, and megastructures. The global NDT market is expected to see significant growth of USD 16.66 billion by 2029, with the training services segment accounting for the second-largest size of the NDT and testing market.

ASNT India Pvt Ltd is India's first NDT certification facility and will offer cutting-edge courses recognized by national and international organizations.
