Atal Community Innovative Centres a boon to young in remote areas: Dy. Director, NITI Aayog

Atal Community Innovative Centres have been launched to encourage a spirit of entrepreneurship in the unserved regions of India by providing enabling infrastructure and facilitating environment for innovation said, Dr.S.B.Muniraju, Deputy Advisor, NITI Aayog, New Delhi. Delivering the Chief Guest’s address at the 49th College Day at Kongunadu Arts and Science College (Autonomous) on Friday, 26th May, he said, Atal Tinkering Lab cultivates an innovative mindset amongst the students. 

Appreciating the holistic education offered by Kongunadu College, he urged students to work effectively in contributing to the five trillion economy in the near future to create a self-sufficient society.In her presidential address Dr.C.A.Vasuki, Secretary and Director, Kongunadu Arts and Science College (Autonomous) underscored implications of the National Education Policy ( NEP) 2020 which make the Indian Education system globally relevant and competent. 

She wanted the students to follow the principles of Swami Vivekananda to lead a resourceful life.  Certificates and prizes for students and cash incentives to members of staff were distributed.  A CD on a tribute to the former President of the college, Dr.M.Aruchami was released by  chief guest. Cultural programmes followed.
