Avinashilingam Institute inks MoU with IITM Incubation Cell

Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore announced a partnership with IITM Incubation Cell, India's leading Deep-tech Start-up hub to nurture and enhance a culture of incubation and entrepreneurial ventures among students in the institute. 
The MoU took shape, with the guiding vision of Prof. 
Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Institute Professor at IIT Madras, Managing Trustee of Avinashilingam Institute, Dr. T.S.K. Meenakshisundaram and the Chancellor Prof. S.P. Thyagarajan. 
The MoU was signed by Dr. V. Bharathi Harishankar, Vice Chancellor and Dr. Tamaswati Ghosh, CEO of IITM Incubation Cell.
Terming the MoU as an important milestone, the Managing Trustee and Chancellor reiterated that this is a forward-looking initiative with transformative potential to shape the future for women students – from being job seekers to job providers - and to empower them to actively contribute to the national and global vision for women's empowerment.
