Avinashilingam University joins One Nation One Subscription initiative

Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women has officially become a member of the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative, a Government of India program that provides access to scholarly research materials from 30 globally recognised publishers and 13,000 journals.
The ONOS initiative, implemented by INFLIBNET, aims to enhance research accessibility and innovation across Indian institutions. By joining this initiative, researchers and students at Avinashilingam University can now remotely access a vast pool of high-quality academic content from any device. 
This step aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, AtmaNirbhar Bharat, and Vikshit Bharat 2047, reinforcing India’s commitment to self-reliance and academic 
excellence.
The official launch of ONOS membership at the university was presided over by Vice-Chancellor Dr. V Bharathi Harisankar in a special ceremony. 
The event was attended by the Registrar, Finance Officer, Deans of various schools, Directors, and members of the library team.
