Award for Swarnalatha

The founder of the Swarga Foundation and disability rights activist, Ms. J. Swarnalatha, received the Sarvashresht Divyangjan Award from the President, Ms. Droupadi Murmu, at a  recent function in New Delhi. 
Selected from 690 nominations from across India, Ms. Swarnalatha received the award for her outstanding contributions to empowering persons with disabilities in the areas of accessibility, advocacy, rehabilitation, counselling, and parasports.
