Basic Life Support Training at PSG Hospital

Coimbatore PSG Hospital recently conducted a health camp in Kotagiri, focusing on women’s health in and around the region. Following that, PSG Community Health organized a Basic Life Support Training at PSG Hospital on May 5. Given the challenge of conducting health camps in every village within a short span, we’ve decided to train women from each village surrounding Kotagiri to equip them with essential emergency response skills.
In this session, 30 women volunteers—including 20 teachers and 10 members from social activity groups—were trained in CPR, first aid, self breast examination, and critical emergency management. This initiative aims to empower local health responders and strengthen healthcare readiness within the community.
