Brain dead youth's organs donated at Erode

Manivannan, 32, belongs to Veerappachatram, ​​Erode,  was undergoing treatment for kidney failure in 2016, and underwent a kidney transplant at Abirami Kidney Care Hospital in Tamil Nadu in 2018. Then in 2022, he suffered from corona infection and was receiving dialysis treatment again at Abirami Kidney Care Hospital. 
He suffered with brain dead on May 6 due to high BP. Manivannan's parents came forward to donate Manivannan's body organs as he had benefited from Tamilnadu organ transplant scheme. Mukesh Kumar aged 61 from Noida, Uttar Pradesh was being treated for liver damage. Therefore, the liver of the brain dead patient was donated to him. Mukesh Kumar was operated on by the hospital head Dr. T. Saravanan's team and  kidney transplant surgery was also done to him on that night itself.  Dr. T. Saravanan said that both the patients are in good health.
