"Bridging the gap between Industrial Expectations and Candidate Preparedness"

The Centre of Excellence in Biotechnology (COXBIT) at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore and Department of Plant Biotechnology, Centre for Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology (CPMB&B), jointly organized a guest lecture on August 30th, 2025 on "Expectations of industries from candidates and decoding how to fullfill the same". The under graduates of B.Tech Biotechnology & Bioinformatics (150) Nos.) were participated in this event.
COXBIT is dedicated to advancing research and development activities in biotechnology through a public-private partnership model. The Centre is equipped with modern infrastructure covering 1.06 lakh sq. ft., including cabin and floor spaces for start-ups, student entrepreneurs and companies to foster research innovations.

Earlier, Dr. N. Senthil, Director, COXBIT & Centre for Plant Molecularbiology and Biotechnology, TNAU, Coimbatore welcomed the gathering. Finally, Dr. L. Arul, Professor and Head, Department of Plant Molecular Biology & Bioinformatics, TNAU, Coimbatore. Dr. K. Hemaprabha, Associate Professor and Dr. V. Rajanbabu, Assistant Professor, DPB coordinated this event.
