Brookefields and Aroh’s Mission to Support Children Battling Cancer

Brookefields and Aroh, a dedicated non-profit organization with pan-India presence, have been collaborating to support children battling cancer. Brookefields has been supporting Aroh through CSR funds in supporting the noble initiative.

Addressing the media about the initiative, Mrs. Bindu N. Nair, Founder & Managing Trustee, Aroh, said that Aroh started small in 2013, before gradually growing and is currently supporting around 3,500 children across the country through a network of 50+ hospitals. She mentioned that Aroh is supporting the hospitals by providing them with staff such as nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, social workers, etc. 

She further added that Brookefields has provided Aroh with unwavering support. The contributions from the CSR funds are being utilized for covering medical expenses towards chemotherapy, radiation, surgeries and diagnostic tests. 

She mentioned apart from the CSR sponsorship, Brookefields has also been supporting Aroh by providing them with space for conducting events. 

Mrs Bindu Nair emphasized that, in addition to medical treatment, Aroh also provides crucial psycho-social support to the families of children battling cancer. She highlighted that this is an emotionally challenging and traumatic time for the entire family, making such support essential in helping them navigate the difficult journey.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Ashwin Balasubramaniam, COO of Brookefields said that the relationship with Aroh goes back a long time and appreciated the work that they are doing for pediatric cancer care. He emphasized Brookefields commitment to such socially responsible initiatives.
