Budgets of Tamil Nadu:The crown and the diamond!

In order to benefit agriculture and farmers, the government is presenting a separate financial statement for the agriculture sector, 'Dravidian Model'. Agriculture Minister M.R.K Panneerselvam has presented the Agriculture Budget for the third year yesterday.

Before preparing the current year's agriculture financial report, Agriculture Minister MRK Panneerselvam has directly heard the opinions of the representatives of agricultural associations, pioneer farmers and agricultural experts across Tamil Nadu and has taken the opinions expressed in the hearing meetings and given us the financial report to reflect them. He has prepared this financial statement to take the heat laborers to the world of technology. It is very gratifying.

The allocation of Rs 38,904 crore for agriculture is welcome.  Allocation of Rs 3 crore for training abroad for farmers to learn foreign agricultural technologies and follow them in our state, Rs 130 crore separate package scheme for bananas to create a unique identity for Theni district banana in the world market, Rs 1 crore for implementation of farm tourism in collaboration with education department, To promote palm cultivation, allocation of Rs. 2 crore to improve the livelihood of palm farmers, allocation of Rs. 125 crore for agricultural machinery and rental centers for farmers, 10 products including Arashampatti coconut, Krishnagiri Panneer Rose, Mulanur short drumstick, etc. Agricultural budget with plans and announcements like appointment of an agricultural extension officer for 3 and 4 villages, setting up a WhatsApp group to inform farmers about farming techniques, weather forecasts etc. is not too much. Nature smells like this in the financial statements.

A special fund has been earmarked for the regular availability of essential daily food items like tomatoes and onions, which outlines the objective of this financial status report. This is welcomed not only by farmers but also by all parties. Various party leaders including Vaiko, Mutharasan, Tamimun Ansari have praised the agriculture budget. It is said that this financial position report is aimed at bringing the farmers who are toiling in the sun into the world of technology.

As usual, opposition leaders such as Edappadi Palaniswami, O. Panneerselvam, Annamalai, G.K Vasan etc. are commenting as if there is nothing in the budget. But the entire Tamilnadu farmers have expressed a few more demands to the government and are welcoming the agriculture budget and sharing their happiness.
There is no doubt that when all the announced schemes are implemented, the lives of the farmers will be enriched and happiness will rise. 

Yesterday Finance Minister Palanivel Thiagarajan presented the general budget and crowned Chief Minister M.K.Stalin who is running the Dravidian model government perfectly. Minister M.R.K Panneerselvam put the Kohinoor diamond in the crown by presenting the agriculture budget!
