Canara Bank's Coimbatore Region-2 Office Provides Educational Scholarships to 294 Students

Canara Bank is implementing the Canara Vidya Jyoti Scholarship Scheme for eligible Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students studying in government and government-aided schools.
As part of this initiative, Canara Bank’s Coimbatore Regional Office-2, covering its 49 branches, arranged to award this year’s educational scholarships to deserving SC/ST students.

Under the Canara Vidya Jyoti Scheme, scholarships were provided to students from classes 5 to 7, each receiving ₹3,000, while students from classes 8 to 10 received ₹5,000 each. A total of 294 students benefited from this scheme. The students were invited to the bank’s Regional office to receive their scholarships. Divisional Manager Hariharan made all the arrangements for the event. The scholarships were distributed by the special guest, Maheswari, District Manager of TAHDCO, Coimbatore and Deputy Collector.

The event was attended by several bank officials, including Divisional Manager Murali Mohan, Senior Manager Sakthivel, Officer Shruthi Kanimozhi, Saravanampatti branch Senior Manager Poornima Dharshini, Koundampalayam Senior Manager Ganesh, and Vadavalili branch Officer Ruby Mary.
