Cancer prevention event organised by Saveetha College of Physiotheraphy

Saveetha College of Physiotherapy, SIMATS Chennai marked World Cancer Day with the theme event "Close the care gap." The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr.Anita Ramesh, HoD Medical Oncology, SMCH, Professor Dr.A.C.Senthilkumar, HoD Surgical oncology, SMCH ,Professor Dr.A.Jagatheesan, Principal,  SCPT .Dr. Anita Ramesh emphasized the significance of cancer screening and treatments at Saveetha Hospital, while Dr. Senthilkumar discussed cancer prevention techniques and the value of leading a healthy lifestyle.
"Dr. Jagatheesan spoke about the role of physiotherapy in cancer care and the presence of Geriatrics & Palliative care specialty at Saveetha University. 

Cancer survivors at Saveetha Medical College Hospital were honored with anti-cancer fruits. 
The students of Saveetha College of Physiotherapy pledged to prevent cancer and took part in various cancer awareness contests including Rangoli, awareness posters, and classical dance.
