CARE T organises workshop on protection of children and women at Coimbatore

CARE T (www.caret.info), an NGO, working for children and young women, organised a workshop on protection of children and women on 22 November 2024 at Hotel CAG Pride, Coimbatore.
Mr.M.Mothiraj, Programme Manager of CARE T has explained the theme of the workshop.
Mrs. M. Hafsa, District Child Protection Officer of Coimbatore in her inaugural address explained the aspects related to Survival, Development, Protection and Participation of all Children below 18 years. Mrs. P.Jayalatha, Integrated Child Development Society of Coimbatore, has explained the need to protect children and women in all spheres.  
Advocate V. Arthi, has explained the various categories of abuses against girl children and young women and rights enshrined in the Constitution of India. 
Advocate M.Mathivanan has explained the role of free legal aid authority in Coimbatore District. 
Mr.S.M.Prithiviraj, Chief Functionary, CARE T has explained the status of children and women in Coimbatore Region.
Ms.M.Theanmozhi, Office Secretary, CARE T proposed the vote of thanks.
