Case registered on L Murugan

Sathyamangalam police registered a case against Nilgiri Lok Sabha constituency BJP candidate L. Murugan for violating election norms.

BJP candidate L. Murugan is campaigning Bhavanisagar Legislative Assembly Constituency in Nilgiris Lok Sabha Constituency. In this case, Umasankar, the Assistant Election Officer, got information that a consultative meeting of 100 people was held under the leadership of L. Murugan in a private high school on the Sathyamangalam-Mysore road without obtaining proper permission.

Subsequently, when the election officials asked the school management for an explanation, it said  he had come to inaugurate the digital classroom. Based on the complaint filed by assistant polling officer Umasankar, Sathyamangalam police have registered a case against 100 people including BJP candidate L. Murugan.
