Chief Minister M.K. Stalin's Pongal gift package brings joy

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced gift packages to all family card holders ahead of the Tamil Festivel Pongal. This gift package was given to 2 crore, 19 lakh, 71 thousand and 113 families across Tamil Nadu. Along with this, one thousand rupees were also given.
The Chief Minister ordered to give the Pongal prize money not only to the Tamils here but also to the Eelam Tamils staying in Tamil Nadu.
Also 1 crore 77 lakh dhothis and 1 crore 77 lakh sarees have been provided by the state government.Chief Minister M. K. Stalin has allocated 2,436.19 crore rupees only for the Pongal gift package. The decision taken by Chief Minister M.K.Stalin with a sense of duty and kindness like giving brother’s gift to Pongal festival despite severe financial crisis, has received the overall appreciation and congratulations of the people of Tamil Nadu.
Only a few weeks ago, Tamil Nadu experienced two major natural calamities. The Chief Minister ordered to pay Rs 6,000 to each of the affected families. The Tamil Nadu government has been asking for a relief amount of Rs 37,907.19 crores from the Union Government, but the Union Government has not given any special funds except the usual amount of Rs 900 crores due.
Chief Minister M. K. Stalin distributed money to the people without worrying about the day when the money would come from the Union government.
