Chief Minister to inaugurate agricultural expo in Perundurai on June 11

As the Chief Minister is going to inaugurate an agricultural exhibition and seminar on June 11, 2025, near Vijayamangalam,  Perundurai, Erode district, Housing, Prohibition and Excise Minister S. Muthusamy inspected the preparations in the venue on Sunday.
The Minister said:
The exhibition will be held on June 11 and 12 with various highlights including agricultural and horticultural technologies, new varieties of agricultural and horticultural crop seeds, grafted fruit seedlings, coconut seedlings and other types of tree seedlings, sale of agricultural machinery and equipment, high-quality livestock and breeding methods, fish farming, banking services in agriculture and a seminar on the subject.
More than 200 pavilions will be set up and displayed in this exhibition. Various institutions such as the Department of Agriculture, Horticulture and Hill Crops, Department of Agricultural Sales and Agribusiness, Department of Agricultural Engineering, Department of Animal Husbandry, Department of Fisheries, Tamil Nadu Milk Producers Cooperative Federation, Department of Sericulture, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Tamil Nadu Veterinary Science University are participating in this exhibition. This exhibition will be an opportunity for farmers to know all the government schemes at one place.
In addition, technical experts, experienced agricultural experts, exporters, high officials, and professors will participate under 25 topics and provide various useful information. This conference will be held for 2 days. Farmers have the opportunity to share their experiences and opinions in this conference. Agricultural experts and the public should utilize this.
The Chief Minister will also lay the foundation stone for new projects, inaugurate completed projects and provide various government welfare assistance to agricultural beneficiaries during this event.
