Children summer adventure camp-2023 at Wellington

A 10 day summer adventure camp for children from Southern Comd was organized by The Madras Regimental Centre, Wellington (Tamil Nadu) from 21 May to 30 May 2023. A total of 110 children participated in various adventure activities including Rock Climbing, Horse Riding, Air Rifle and Pistol shooting, Trekking, Boating, Team Bldg Exs etc. In addition to this, they visited SPCA Coonoor and learnt basics of dog handling, taking care of injured animals and  extended their service for a day in Old Age Home near Tulsi at Coonoor. 

The children also participated in a tree plantation drive at Wellington as part of environment protection. The aim of this adventure camp was to develop spirit of adventure and social awareness in children to make them a better human being and a responsible citizen.
