CISF, ExNoRa collaborate with SIMATS students for Green Campus Drive

Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and ExNoRa Conducts Green Campus Drive in association with National Service Scheme (NSS)and Green Club of Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) Deemed University.

     Shri. S.R. Saravanan - IPS, Inspector General / SS of the Central Industrial Security Force, Shri. K.V.K. Sriram, Deputy Inspector General of Central Industrial Security Force, Mr. S. SENTHUR PARI, President ofExNoRa International, Tmt. ArulselviVivek, W/o Late Actor Vivek - Founder of Green Kalam graced the event as the chief guests and guests of honor respectively. 

"The initiative taken by the students of SIMATS is a true reflection of their commitment to the environment and to social responsibility.Their active participation in the Special Plantation Drive is indeed commendable," said Shri. S.R. Saravanan - IPS, Inspector General / SS of the CISF. “We aim to not only equip our students with excellent professionals’ skills, but also to instill in them a sense of duty towards our planet.” said Dr. Veeraiyan, Chancellor of SIMATS and thanked the CISF and ExNoRa for choosing SIMATS to be a part of the green cause. 

The Special Plantation Drive event aimed to accentuate the importance of cultivating a green campus, while fostering an eco-conscious culture among the students. Besides focusing on academic growth, Dr. Ramya Deepak, Director of SIMATS Engineering consistently encourages the students to be proactive members of the community, cultivating responsible citizens in addition to successful engineers.
