Civil Services Aspirants’ Club inaugurated at KASC

The Kongunadu Arts and Science College (KASC) inaugurated its Civil Services Aspirants’ Club today, with Dr. S Prashanth, an MBBS doctor turned IPS officer, being felicitated at the event. The Chief Guest was K Balakrishnan IPS, Commissioner of Police, Coimbatore City, accompanied by Dr. CA Vasuki, Secretary and Director of KASC, Dr. V Sangeetha, Principal, and Dr. P Sujatha, Coordinator.

In his keynote address, Balakrishnan IPS emphasised the importance of dedication, passion, and hard work in achieving success. He highlighted that decision-making is a unique human trait and commended the students for choosing to join the Civil Services Aspirants’ Club. He noted that the preparation process and interactions with peers, teachers, and civil servants would positively transform their personalities.

Balakrishnan further stated that civil services provide numerous opportunities to serve the public and urged students to work hard and prepare for challenges to achieve success. Dr. Prashanth expressed his joy at being part of the event and praised the college for launching the club. Sharing insights from his own journey, he encouraged students by affirming their potential to succeed in civil services.

Dr. Vasuki, in her address, encouraged students to draw inspiration from the achievements of the two IPS officers present. She stressed the importance of endurance and hard work in reaching one's goals.

The event marked a significant step in guiding and motivating KASC students toward a future in civil services, emphasising the values of dedication and hard work essential for success.
