Clash and Violence : ADMK HQ sealed

AIADMK head quarters was sealed today morning by revenue officials as violence erupted in clashes between O.Paneerselvam (OPS) and Edappadi K Palanisamy (EPS) supporters.O. Panneerselvam broke the barricade of EPS supporters in Royapetta, Chennai and entered the AIADMK head quarters. 
The High Court ruled that the AIADMK General Assembly can be convened while a case was filed by the OPS seeking a ban on holding the AIADMK general assembly meeting at Srivaru Venkatachalapati Mandapam in Wanakaram, Chennai on July 11.
 

This led to a clash between EPS and OPS supporters at AIADMK head quarters in Chennai. A supporter of OPS who came to the AIADMK head quarters was assaulted by the gatheredvolunteers. 
There was a scuffle and an argument between the volunteers who gathered at the gateof the AIADMK quarters. Some OPS supporters were injured in the attack by EPS supporters. An OPS supporter was also stabbed in the encounter. This made the AIADMK head office look like a war zone.
At the height of the conflict, when the OPS arrived at the AIADMK head quarters, they attacked his vehicle by pelting stones. However, defying the ban, OPS went inside the AIADMK headquarters in Royapetta. 
 

The supporters of OPS went inside the AIADMK office and tore the pictures of EPS there. Earlier the pictures of OPS were torn down in the AIADMK office, todaythe picture of EPS was torn down. 
Regarding this the AIADMK head office office bearers haves filed a complaint against 
OPS and his supporters in Royapetta police.
 

When the OPS supporters broke the door of AIADMK headquarters and entered, the EPSsupporters filed a complaint. Also, a few minutes after Palaniswami was chosen as the interim 
General Secretary, a clash broke out between 
 

Palaniswami and Panneerselvam's supporters in the AIADMK office. Police arrested 15 people in connection with the clash.Meanwhile, O. Panneerselvam and many of his supporters were inside the party head quarters.
After the clash, security has been strengthened in the area where the party head quarters is located. Also, regarding law and order, Revenue Department officials and police held a consultation at Royapetta Police Station. Then, they decided to seal the AIADMK head quarters.The OPS who came out sat on the floor and engaged in dharna protest. After a while he left.Following this the officials locked and sealed the party Head quarters.
