CM lays foundation for Rs 1000 cr worth shoe factory in Jeyankondam Gives job to 15,000 people

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin laid the foundation stone for Rs 10000 cr worth shoe factory at Jayamkondam in Ariyalur district on Friday.
The Government of Tamil Nadu is taking various special initiatives to attract the necessary investments to create a large number of jobs for the youth of Tamil Nadu and transform the economy of Tamil Nadu to USD 1 trillion by 2030.
It is noteworthy that during the Global Investors' Conference held in Chennai last January, Deanshoes Company entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Tamil Nadu government. 
It is noteworthy that this project is being set up in Ariyalur, an industrially backward district. 
In that way, a place has been allotted to Deanshoes company in Mahimaipuram village next to Jeyangondam in Ariyalur district, and this company is currently setting up a shoe manufacturing factory with an investment of Rs.1,000 crore to provide employment to 15,000 people. 
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin laid the foundation stone for the work today. 
Earlier, he unveiled the life size statue of late former Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi in Jayangkondam city.
Subsequently, at the Angan Wadi Center in Varanavasi village, he distributed a nutritional kit to malnourished children. 
Also, in the government ceremony held in Kollapuram village next to Ariyalur, he laid the foundation stone of 53 new projects worth Rs.120 crores in Ariyalur and Perambalur districts, 507 unfinished projects worth Rs.89.94 crores and provided welfare assistance worth Rs.173.96 crores to 21,862 beneficiaries.
