On this occasion, Chief Minister Stalin inaugurated 16 completed projects worth Rs. 15.70 crore, laid the foundation stone for 11 new projects worth Rs. 159.53 crore and provided welfare assistance worth Rs. 25.41 crore to 4,524 beneficiaries.
On this occasion, on behalf of the Animal Husbandry Department, a veterinary dispensary at Bhavani and Jambai was inaugurated at a cost of Rs. 59 lakh, 1,000-ton capacity auction warehouse of Cooperative Department at Konamoolai village near Sathyamangalam at a cost of Rs. 1.65 crore, and the Veerappampalayam Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Union branch office building at Kannammapuram at a cost of Rs. 16 lakh. On behalf of the Agriculture Department, he inaugurated many completed projects including a dry field with a grading hall at Kondaiyampalayam near Anthiyur at a cost of Rs. 35 lakh, a regulated sales hall at Chithodu, and a turmeric export center at a cost of Rs. 10 crore. He laid the foundation stone for the construction of a public sewage treatment plant at a cost of Rs. 136.76 crore at the Sipcot Industrial Park in Perundurai.
