CM Stalin inaugurates education officer building in Tiruvannamalai

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin inaugurated the newly built Integrated Principal Education Officer office building in Tiruvannamalai on July 19. The building, constructed at a cost of Rs 19.50 crore on behalf of the School Education Department, was made available for office use following a lamp lighting ceremony.

The inauguration event was attended by District Collector D Bhaskar Pandian, Tiruvannamalai MP CN Annadurai, and State Athletics Association Vice President Dr. EVVe Kamban. The newly built office complex, located at the Tiruvannamalai District Collector's Office Complex, boasts a variety of facilities.

On the ground floor, there is a Superintendent's Room, Visitor's Room, Records Room, Question Paper Security Room, Principal Education Officer's Room, RMSA Structures, Officer's Room, Principal Education Officer's Interview Assistant Room, Canteen, Ladies' and Men's Washrooms, Handicapped Washroom, and a Power Lift.

The first floor includes a Book Room, Records Room, Office Room, Computer Room, District Education Officer Room, District Education Officer's Room with Canteen and Toilet, District Education Officer's Interview Assistant Room, ADPC SSA Room, District Elementary Education Officer's Room, and additional Toilets.

The second floor contains further facilities including a Records Room, District Education Officer's Interview Assistant Room, Computer Room, District Education Officer's Office Room, Superintendent of Schools Room, Reception Room, Meeting Room, Storage Room, and Toilets.

The office complex spans a built-up area of 54,833 sq. ft., featuring three floors of office warehouse space and power lift facilities. Separate rooms have been designated for the safekeeping of question papers, and a two-wheeler parking area has been set up in an area of 363 square feet.

The event was also attended by District Principal Education Officer Ganesh Murthy, Tiruvannamalai Union Committee President Kalaivani Kalaimani, interview assistants of the District Collector, District Education Officers, local government representatives, and other departmental government officials.
