Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati addressed the beneficiaries of the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme and the Urban Housing Repair scheme at the "Niraindhadu Manam" program held on September 4 in Karamadai. The program, organised by the Department of Rural Development and Panchayats in collaboration with the Public Relations Department, aimed to raise awareness about government schemes benefiting the public.
Speaking to reporters, the Collector highlighted the significance of the program, noting that 435 people in the Karamadai region have benefited from the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme. He also mentioned that under the Urban Housing Repair scheme, financial assistance ranging from ₹32,000 to ₹1.50 lakhs is being provided to citizens for building repairs. The program also included a feedback session from the beneficiaries regarding the effectiveness of these schemes.
Additional Collector Swetha Suman, Public Relations Officer Senthil Anna, and local panchayat leaders Rajeshwari and Kumaresan were present at the event.
