Coimbatore Collector inaugurates ICDS expo

Coimbatore District Collector Mr. Krantikumar Padi  inaugurated an expo organized under Integrated Child Development Program in Coimbatore District Collector's Office on the occasion of Nutrition 
Month. 
In this event, Assistant Collector (Training) Mr. Angath Kumar Jain, Deputy Collector (Training) Madhu Abhinaya, ICDS  Program Officer Andal and many anganwadi workers were present.
In order to explain the importance of nutrition in this event, an exhibition was set up with minor millets, nutritional products and vegetables. 
In the expo everyone accepted the nutrition awareness pledge under the leadership of the collector. 
On behalf of the ICDS, this year's theme of Prevention of Anemia, Growth Monitoring, Importance of Complementary Food, Education with Nutrition (Poshan Bhi Padhai Bhi), Planting a Tree in the Name of Mother and Career for Good Governance will be held at Child Centers in all districts throughout this month.
