Coimbatore Collector inspects development projects in Karamadai

Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati conducted an inspection of several ongoing development projects in the Karamadai region on December 4.
The collector reviewed the construction of the Government Bus Stand in Mettupalayam, a project valued at ₹8.63 crores. He also assessed the progress of a drip irrigation initiative in Sikkathasam Palayam Panchayat, worth ₹38 lakhs. Additionally, the collector inspected the construction of an Anganwadi center in Vellipalayam village under the MGNREGA scheme, with an estimated cost of ₹14 lakhs.
The inspection was attended by Assistant Collector (Training) Ankit Kumar, Municipal Commissioner Amudha, Sikkathasan Palayam Panchayat Chairman Vimala Thirumoorthi, Mettupalayam Municipality President Meheeba Parveen, Karamadai Regional Development Officers Maheswari and Sathishkumar, Tahsildar Vasudhevan, and Election Division Deputy Tahsildar Balamurugan.
