Coimbatore Collector Kranthikumar Padi released Rs 64682 cr annual credit plan (ACP) for current year at the bankers meeting held at the collectorate on Thursday.
RBI Assistant General Manager Mr. Krishnakumar, District Lead Bank Manager Mr. Jithendran, NABARD Assistant General Manager Mr. Tirumala Rao, Canara Bank Senior Manager Mr. Iswaramurthy, Project Director (Women Project)) Mrs.Chandra, District Industrial General Manager Mr.Shanmugasiva, TAHDCO District Manager Mrs.Maheshwari, Cooperative Societies Liaison Director Mr.Azhagiri, Coimbatore District Central Coop Bank General Manager Mrs.Anandhi, Deputy General Manager Mr.Manokaran and all bankers, government officials were present.
Later, the District Collector said, Every year NABARD Bank prepares resource based bank loan scheme for each district. Accordingly, a target of Rs.64,682 crore has been set for disbursement of loans by banks in Coimbatore district in 2024-2025. The Annual Credit Plan for this year has been prepared on the basis of NABARD Bank's proposed credit target. In the loan scheme for the year 2024-2025, Rs 26,789 crore allotted for agriculture, Rs 35,661 crore for MSMEs and Rs 2,231 crore for other priority loans totaling Rs 64,682 crore.
It is worth noting that this is Rs.17,053 crore more than last year, he added.
