Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabakaran visited the North Zone to inspect various development projects aimed at benefiting the local community on July 9. His first stop was Subramaniampalayam, where he reviewed the overhead water tank repair work and developments at the Centre for Integrated Child Development Programme.
Commissioner Prabakaran then visited the Corporation Middle School, where he assessed the work carried out and interacted with students. He emphasised the importance of practical and simplified teaching methods to the teachers. Following this, he inspected the ongoing construction of eight new classrooms at the Corporation Middle School in Udayampalayam, a project costing Rs. 99.50 lakhs.
Accompanying the Commissioner during the inspection were Municipal Chief Engineer Anbazhagan, Assistant Commissioner Sridevi, Regional Health Officer Radhakrishnan, and other government officials.
