Coimbatore Mayor Inspects development works in city

Coimbatore Corporation Mayor, Mrs Kalpana Anandakumar, inaugurated new development works worth Rs.73 lakh in the North Zone of the corporation on Monday. She also inspected the ongoing works including construction of a new classroom and a rainwater drainage system in Saravanampatti, LGB Nagar Municipal Corporation Primary School   in Ward No. 21 at a cost of Rs. 20 lakhs, construction of two more rainwater drainage systems costing Rs. 33 lakhs, pipe-laying work of TWAD  at Saravanampatti, tar roads in Ward 10 and 19,  new classroom construction works at Maniyakarambalayam Corporation Higher Secondary School and  rainwater drainage works in the Kalpana Layout area. Various dignitaries, including North Zone President Mr V. Kadirvel and Councillors, were present during the event.
