Coimbatore Police gift tree saplings to citizens at the traffic signals

Coimbatore City Police and Home Guard, in collaboration, distributed tree saplings to local citizens at traffic signals in the city on June 5 at 10 AM. This initiative, spearheaded by Coimbatore City Police Commissioner V Balakrishnan, was part of World Environment Day.

The Commissioner personally distributed more than 500 saplings to people at Gandhipuram Signal and Selvapuram Sivalaya Junction. Assistant Commissioner of Police (Transport) Rohit Nathan Rajagopal, Assistant Police Commissioner (North) Dr. R Stalin, Assistant Police Commissioner (South) Dr. K Saravanakumar, and other police officials were present during the event.
