Coimbatore Semmozhi park will be completed by December, says minister KN Nehru

After inspecting the construction work, Minister KN Nehru announced that the Semmozhi Park in Coimbatore will be completed by December.
The Semmozhi Park project is underway near Gandhipuram Central Jail, Coimbatore, at a cost of Rs 133 crore. Municipal Administration Minister KN Nehru and Housing Minister Muthusamy inspected the ongoing works this morning. Coimbatore Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati and Corporation Commissioner Sivaguru Prabhakaran answered their questions.
Speaking to the press, Minister KN Nehru said, “Semmozhi Park in Coimbatore was initiated by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin. These works are progressing well, and we plan to complete the project by December. Additionally, steps are being taken to fill the vacant posts of engineer and assistant engineer in local bodies across Tamil Nadu. 
In the first phase, 2500 posts will be filled in collaboration with Anna University. Eighty-five percent of these positions will be filled through examination, while the remaining 15 percent will be filled through direct examination. These tasks will be completed within a week.”
Regarding the recent resolutions, he added, “There was no issue as 333 resolutions were passed in 10 minutes in the Coimbatore Corporation. All resolutions will be considered, and appropriate actions will be taken to fulfil the needs of the people.”  Deputy Mayor Vetrichelvan and District Secretary N Karthik were also present during the inspection.
