Collector distributes free textbooks to students

Following the opening of schools for students in grades 1 to 10 in the Erode district (13.06.2022), the District Collector, Mr. H. Krishnanunni, inspected the Rayapalayam Government Higher Secondary School in Chithodu and distributed textbooks to students.

The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has ordered to open schools from today for students studying from 1st to 10th class.  Following that, the  Collector visited the school and inspected the Smart Class, Atal Tinkering Lab, noonmeal centre, attendance of the students.  Subsequently, he instructed the officers to write down on the board the types of food served to the students daily.  In addition, he consulted with the newly enrolled students and the parents of the students.  He also instructed the teachers to set up an herbal garden in the school with the participation of the students.
