Collector distributes Rs 13. 35 lakh subsidy to women FPC

Erode District Collector  H.Krishnanunni participated in the annual general body meeting of Sakthi Bhavani Women Farmers Producers Company (FPC) in the Sathyamangalam Kamadenu College of Arts and Science and distributed Rs 13.35 lakh subsidy to 4 beneficiaries,  skill development training certificates to 20 persons and inaugurated the new office of the company under the Vaznthu Kattuvom project.

In his speech, he said with the help of the Government of Tamil Nadu and the World Bank, the project was being implemented with the  aim to bring sustainable development and prosperity in the lives of the rural people by creating business enterprises in rural areas, creating financial resources, and reviving the lives of the rural people in Bhavani, Bhavanisagar, Chennimalai, Sathy, and Thalavadi blocks in 77 panchayats  of Erode district.   Then, he introduced 26 products of the SHGs including edible oil, arapu powder, banana chips, avarambu tea powder, ragi flour etc.
