In the mass contact camp held at Paduvampalli village, Sulur circle, Coimbatore district, District Collector Dr. G.S.Sameeran received public petitions and distributed Rs. 2.07 crore worth government benefits to 514 beneficiaries. In the camp, Sulur MLA V.P. Kandasamy, District Panchayat Committee President Santhimathi Asokan, Paduvampally Panchayat Council President Saravanan, Sulur Union Committee President Balasundaram, District Rural Development Agency Project Director K. Kavita, Special Deputy Collector Social Security Project Murugesan, District Collector's PA (Agriculture) ) Tamil Selvi, RDO (South) Ilango, District Supply Officer Sivakumari, tahsildar Sukuna and many government officials were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Collector Dr. G.S. Sameeran said that ''in Coimbatore district public relations camp is conducted every month and people are made aware about government schemes. Accordingly, a public relations camp is being held today in Paduvampally village, Sulur circle. The Chief Minister has announced that 10 important projects are invited from each Assembly segment. Sulur MLA demanded 10 important projects including inclusion of missing areas in the Athikadavu Avinasi project.

He inaugurated the Paduvampally Primary Agricultural Cooperative Credit Society's part-time fair price shop in Chennappa Chettiputhur area and inaugurated the first sale.
