Collector distributes Rs 41 lakh worth aid

Nilgiris District District Collector M. Aruna participated in the Manu Needhi day camp held at Melur village, Coonoor circle, and provided various government welfare assistance worth Rs. 40.94 lakhs to 61 beneficiaries. The aid was given under 

self-employment, district child protection, BC, MBC,  horticulture and differently abled welfare department schemes etc. 

   She said according to the instructions of the Chief Minister, the officials should go to the people to receive petitions and give welfare assistance to the eligible beneficiaries. She cited various welfare schemes of the government.
