Collector holds meeting on Nirbaya scheme

The Nilgiris Collector M Aruna presided over an officials meeting on Nirbaya scheme at the Collectorate. In her speech she said  ''Nirbaya means fearless and providing safety to women and children. The union social welfare department provides fund to other departments under the scheme. In the district, many tourist spots existed. In that areas, steps safety of women and children should be ensured. 

She directed the officials to provide, medical assistance, file first information report in case of any problem, psychological counseling,  legal assistance, accommodation, and instal  CCTV cameras in public and tourist places.

 District Revenue Officer Keerthi Priyadarsini,  additional SP Soundarajan, PA to Collector Thanapriya, District Tourism Officer Umashankar, District Social Welfare Officer, Praveena Devi, Assistant Director (Municipalities) Mr. Sam Santhakumar and many others attended.
