Collector inaugurates career guidance expo

Nilgiri District M Aruna inaugurated  the career guidance exhibition and seminar for college students and educated youth, organised by the district employment and career guidance center, at the Utagai Government College of Arts.

 The District Collector advised the students to take advantage of the information given about competitive exams and self-employment in the Expo. Students should choose their field of choice. Keep reading related books. Learn new useful things every day. 

Also, as per the instructions of the Chief Minister, a 'library' has been opened in Kanthal area of ​​Uthagamandalam Municipality. This intellectual center and library have enough books to accommodate 60 students at a time for competitive exams. It has 5000 books related to various fields. The District Collector said that the students preparing for the competitive examination should use them to succeed in the examination.

 Following this, she released the Professional Conduct Guidebook for those studying  at the District Employment Office Voluntary Learning Circle, Tamil Nadu Government. 

She gave books to Mr. Raja Muhammad who passed the Group-2 examination conducted by the TNPSC and Mr. Durgaram and Mr. Prabhu who passed the examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Staff Selection Commission as constables. Earlier, she visited the book exhibition containing details related to higher education and self-employment. 

On this occasion, Regional Joint Director (Employment) (Coimbatore) Ms. Jyothimani, RDO Mr. Maharaj, District Social Welfare Officer Ms. Praveena Devi, General Manager (District Career Center) Mr. Shanmugasiva, District Employment Officer Mr. Sakul Hameedu, Government Arts College Principal(P) Mr. Franklin Jose, VocationalGuidance Officer Ms. M. Kasturi, Junior Placement Officer Mr. Rajesh, and college students were present.
