Nilgiris District M Aruna inspected an anganwadi centre at Anikorai in Thuneri Panchayat in the Nilgiri Panchayat Union Primary School and inspected the quality of food served to the students there. 
She said the CM has been implementing various programs on behalf of all departments in an excellent manner. Based on that Integrated Child Development Program was implemented by the Department of Social Welfare and Women Rights. 
It has been a great program to improve the welfare of women and children. 
It is well implemented with the highest objective of protecting the welfare of all children in the society. Anganwadi workers working in the ICDS provide food to pregnant mothers. 
It also plays an important role in the development of children. Anganwadi workers are conducting a survey on the nutritional status of children under the age of six studying in Anganwadi centers. 
Also, through the health department, vaccinations, health check-ups and medical tests and medical recommendations are provided. 
She examined the quality of food provided to children by looking at children's weight, height and learning ability. During this study, BDOs Nandakumar, Sridhar and many other Anganwadi workers were present.
